Projects
CodeNeuro's fundamental unit of organization
In CodeNeuro, all data is “sandboxed” into a Project. Only you and your Project’s collaborators can access the data in a Project.
Billing is also handled at the Project level, by the Project owner.
Create A Project
When you first log in to CodeNeuro, you will be prompted to create a Project (or join an existing Project):
Click Create Project +
to create a new Project.
Creating a second Project
If this isn’t your first time creating a Project, you can click the New project
button in the Project switcher in the sidebar.
Billing Plan
First, you will be asked to select a billing plan.
The Pro plan is our most common plan for small-to-medium sized projects. If you have a large project, or need a more custom plan, select the Institutional plan.
Project Information
Next, fill out the form with the following information:
- Institution/Organization
- Principal Investigator/Project Lead
- Project Name
- Project Description (optional)
If you select the Institutional plan, your Project will be created, but you will not be able to upload and process data until we contact your to complete the onboarding process.
Project Name
Project names must be unique. If the name you enter is already in use, the project will not be created.
Project Switcher
Throughout CodeNeuro, you will see a Project switcher in the top left of the screen.
You may use this to switch between Projects, create new Projects, and navigate to a Project’s Settings.
Project-Scoped Pages
IMPORTANTData-related pages, such as Subjects and Analysis Logs, as well as tools like Movement Detector and Quick Score operate on data related to the current Project.
Always ensure you are in the correct Project before performing data-related actions.
Project Settings
You can navigate to a Project’s settings by clicking the icon in the Project switcher, or by clicking on the Project in your Account settings.
You can add a description to the project by clicking the pencil icon next to the project name.
You can change the project logo by hovering over the image and clicking the pencil icon.
The new logo must be less than 5 MB and in one of the following formats: .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg, .webp, .tif, .tiff, .webp.
Usage
Your project usage is displayed below the Project name and image.
Video Storage is the amount of uploaded videos (not including videos that CodeNeuro creates as a result of an analysis).
Analysis Usage is the amount of analysis hours used this month. If your analysis limit is reached in the middle of an analysis, it will continue to run until it is complete.
If you need additional storage or analysis hours, please reach out to us at support@codeneuro.com.
Collaborators
Collaborators are other CodeNeuro users who have access to the Project.
You can invite a collaborator by clicking the Invite collaborator
button. You will be asked to enter their email address and select their role.
Roles
Collaborators can have either the Admin
or Collaborator
role. An Admin
can invite and remove collaborators, as well as upload and delete data. A Collaborator
can only view and analyze data.
Remove a collaborator
To remove a collaborator, click three vertical dots under the Actions
column in that collaborator’s row and select Remove collaborator
.
You will be asked to confirm the removal.
Delete your Project
To delete your Project, click the Delete project
button.
You will be asked to type the Project’s name to confirm the deletion.
Destructive Action
Deleting a Project will delete all subjects, videos, and data associated with the Project. This action cannot be undone.
Billing
Because grant funding is often tied to a specific project, our billing is handled at the Project level. The owner of the Project is responsible for payment.
See our pricing page for information about our current plans.
If you need support for account-based billing or need a Purchase Order, please reach out to us at support@codeneuro.com.
